SILVIA GIMÉNEZ-SALINAS COLOMER
Bachelor in Law and Diploma in Criminology from the University of Barcelona (1980-1984), specializing in Family Law and Canon Law (1985). She was appointed Dean of the Bar Association of Barcelona in office from 2005 to 2009. Throughout her career she has worked as a lawyer specializing in Private Law, Civil and Family Law, both nationally and internationally. Since 2001 is an expert in Family Mediation, with a special concern for the rights of child protection.
She is a member of the Plenary Commission Codification of Catalonia, President of the Research Institute of Applied law and President of the Commission of Mediation Barreaux Fédération Des Européens (FBE).
In her work as a teacher, she has participated in the Master of Law in the field of family law.
During her long career she has chaired various prestigious organizations in the world of the Law, such as: the Council of the Bar Associations of Catalonia (CICAC); Commission for Relations with the Justice Administration of the General Council of the Spanish law (CGAE); Intercol·legial Catalan Association; Catalan Arbitration Association; Commission for Relations with the Administration of Justice in the Barcelona Bar Association (ICAB).

MARÍA GIRÁLDEZ DE LUIS
Graduated in law from the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid and in Maîtrise Droit privé from Université Paris XI of France. She started his practice in 2006 in Madrid within the specialty of family law with special interest in child protection, being Master in Family Law by the Bar Association of Barcelona, of which she’s a member since 2009.
Specialist in International Family Law, participates in national and international conferences and seminars about Family Law and the situation of children in distress.
She has been participating in the program DAPHNE – European Charter on the project lawyer des Femmes VICTIMS OF VIOLENCE (The counsel women victims of violence) with assistance and funding from the European Union (Professional Associations Participants: Montpellier (France), Perpignan (France) Clermont Ferrand (France), Avignon (France), Figueres, Barcelona, Viterbo (Italy), Timisoara (Romania).
